This is an enhancement to our TourTools® Group and FIT Management solution that adds the capability to load and track blocks of tickets for sporting or theatrical events. Tools have been developed to quickly load "blocks" of tickets and present them to the user during the booking process.

The graphical user interface makes it easy to select tickets and "connect" them to a booking record. The user can tell at a glance which tickets are sold and which are available. It is easy to book and release tickets to make rearranging groups of passengers a very simple process.

Real-Time Credit Card Authorization

TourTools® can provide real-time credit card authorization and the necessary reports to reconcile your credit card account on a daily and monthly basis. The TourTools® credit card option consists of a transaction entry screen that can pull client data directly from the Client's permanent record.

Once the specific payment information is loaded the user clicks the submit button and the transaction is sent to a secure, on-line processing service. In about 5 seconds, the authorization is posted in the transaction record. If the transaction is approved, it is posted to the payment module, if it is denied, the user can try another card or change the amount.

Either way, the user knows the status of the transaction, saving time on client callbacks and repetitive transaction submissions. Best of all, the cash is in your bank account in 24 to 48 hours!

Integration With QuickBooks

QuickBooks is perhaps the leading small-business accounting package. TourTech has developed the programming required to integrate the receivables and payables management in TourTools® with the general ledger functions of QuickBooks.

TourTools® programming enables users are to enter all of the daily receipts, cash, checks and credit cards in TourTools® and after reconciling the Daily Cash Report, the user can click a button and transfer all of the receipts to QuickBooks.

Each transaction is posted to a bank account and the appropriate income account, a transaction can have multiple debits and credits. The system has the added capability to adjust for bank charges as part of the transaction.

Using the check payment queue that is built into TourTools® the user can select checks to be paid and with a click of a button, the data is moved from TourTools® into QuickBooks so each check is ready for printing. Each transaction is recorded with the bank account, the payable-to name, and the check amount can be broken into accounts for detailed record keeping.

Travel Club Management Module

Many tour operators have discovered that travel clubs are an excellent way to generate additional revenue and, more importantly, build customer loyalty. The new, enhanced module features a simplified user interface that will perform several critical tasks.

One click to sign up a new member or to renew a membership, one click to cancel. Perhaps the most time consuming aspect of membership management is tracking the renewal and termination dates and the critically important correspondence that informs the member of their club status. We have reduced this complicated process to a single button that generates up to six different letters at the appropriate times.

The module will track "frequent traveler" points - posting them at the completion of a tour, redeeming them for discounts on tours. Because it is part of TourTools® the process can be adjusted easily to suit the needs of your travel club.
