Creating, Maintaining and Selling Flight Itineraries

This video is a guide on creating and assigning flight records in TouTools. It will walk you through the process, step-by-step.
There are two main reasons to create flight records:

You’ve sold airfare as part of a package and need to assign passengers to specific itineraries.
You want to track how passengers are flying into the departure city.
The video explains how to create flight segments within a Tour record and input and track important information, including departure/arrival details, carriers, flight numbers, and Passenger Name Records (PNRs).

We advise against capturing the fare directly in the flight record and recommend creating a separate “contracted service record” instead. This ensures proper accounting for both income and expenses.
Finally, the video demonstrates assigning flight itineraries to passengers within the Bookings module. You will see how to assign flights to individual passengers or use color coding to assign entire itineraries at once for groups with the same schedule.
